IT Service Desk Team Leader
Borehamwood | 35-38k
An IT Service Desk Team Leader is required to join a well-established and fast-growing IT Services, Solutions and Consultancy practice based out of Borehamwood.   The IT Service Desk Team Leader will be providing day-to-day management of 1 st and 2 nd line technical service desk resources to ensure response to clients are within SLA. You will oversee incidents, problems, changes, and service requests, manage and coordinate urgent and complicated support issues, become the incident manager in major incidents, act as escalation point for all incidents and requests and develop and mature phone & email ticket escalation processes to ensure free flowing escalation and information within the organisation.   You will: Act as an escalation point for 2 nd and 3 rd line incidents. Direct line management of a team of up to 6 including permanent and contract staff.   You will be ITIL qualified and boast a proven track record as a Technical Service Desk Team Leader with a history of working in a 3 rd line technical support role with a detailed understanding of IP networks traffic, firewalls, routing etc. and Microsoft 365 including Azure AD and Intune.
Systems / Server Administrator - Milton Keynes

We have an exciting opportunity for a Systems / Server Administrator in a rapidly expanding data centre environment within Milton Keynes.  This role will see you work under the Technical Lead and provide support for many different IT needs.  You will also be involved in high level customer and internal projects aimed at improving IT capabilities across many services. Responsibilities of this Role: High level projects including the installation and configuration of customer environments. Installation of equipment within our data centre. Installation of equipment within third party data centres across Europe. Supporting current customer environments. Supporting internal systems.  Essential Requirements: Windows Server 2012 R2, 2016 and, 2019. Server build and configuration. Practical Experience with Windows Server, Active Directory and Group Policy. Experience of installation and configuration of Microsoft Exchange. Comprehensive knowledge of IT and network configuration. Ability to configure and support Cisco network equipment including Cisco ASA's, Cisco Catalyst Switches, Cisco Nexus. Configuration and Support of virtual environments including Hyper-V and VMWare. Understanding of Linux and its configuration. Full clean driving licence. Senior Windows System / Server Engineer
Milton Keynes, Remote | 45-50k + Flexitime, Pension
We are seeking an enthusiastic Senior System / Server Engineer to work for an awesome technology driven organisation at the forefront of their market. This role is directly responsible for monitoring the infrastructure, maintaining operational/service levels, and assisting with planning the roadmap for projects related to the IT infrastructure. The business is currently operating fully remote however will be based out of Milton Keynes or Northampton. You will be hands on, with knowledge and experience in the following areas…   Key Responsibilities: Responsible for ensuring smooth running of the global server and network environments Oversee and coordinate, maintenance and support of the server, storage and networking equipment, and action where needed Be the escalation point and senior technical resource for any systems related issues and projects Perform on-site (where needed) and fully remote technical support and system administration of various server architecture, and networking architecture Assist in the planning, design, documentation, and implementation of various projects to include servers, network equipment, and software applications. Ideally with the following skillset: Minimum 4 years in a similar role, with minimum of 2 years as a senior resource to allow knowledge transfer and upskilling of other members of the team Experience working with server and storage hardware (rack mount servers, SAN, direct attached storage, etc) Networking skills in administering and maintaining switches, routers, and firewalls Good foundational understanding of switching and routing protocols Windows Server administration including hands on troubleshooting and support Active Directory configuration and administration Office 365 administration Hyper-V, VMware and KVM administration SQL Server installation and configuration, tweaks, and changes CISCO CCNP advantageous  Salary on dependent on skillset and experience, with full remote work available.
