Agile Project Manager – Software Delivery
Leeds, Yorkshire | 400-425pd + Outside IR35
Agile Project Manager - Software Delivery needed in Leeds. The Project Manager / Agile Delivery Manager must be able to demonstrate experience as a delivery manager working specifically on agile SDLC projects and with a focus on delivering transformation (platforms or services) in the public sector. An almost immediate start is required; DBS checks will need to be passed.   As Agile Project Manager / Delivery Manager you will boast an array of: -         Excellent agile delivery credentials within software development projects -         Clear servant leader characteristics -         Experience delivering shared platform or services using the Microsoft tech stack C# or Azure -         First class facilitation and project management skills Key experience therefore is; 1) Experience working closely with stakeholders, including executive stakeholders, to help refine project vision, goals and release themes, 2) Experience working with software delivery teams using modern technologies and practices, including a deep understanding of the Discovery, Alpha, Beta, and Live process and 3) Have demonstrable experience of working in a culture of continuous delivery and improvement. Can show evidence of creating a culture of innovation for delivery teams.  Ideally you offer Agile Maturity and Lean expertise who enjoys helping shape the agile delivery environment and coaching those internally as to why agile should be introduced within technology programmes and projects. This is a 3-month piece of work with likely extensions. Office based 2 days a week in Leeds. Outside of IR35.

Automation Software Tester Fully Remote
Leicester, Fully Remote | 45-50k + 100% Remote work, pension, flexi-time
Automation Software Tester required by Leicester based rapidly growing software house within the technology sector, this is a remote based position with 1 day in the office in Leicester every 3 months for brainstorming. Currently with around 20 staff and driven by their success with around 50+ clients they are now starting to make headway and are also looking to expand overseas. The existing technology stack sits around Objective-C for their iOS app, Java for their Android App and C# .Net for all server development, although future architecture, design and development will all be based on Microservices and deployed on AWS, with front end design within React/Angular. This role will see the Automation Test Engineer work on both manual and automated testing with functionality tests built for the mobile apps (iOS and Android), the web interface and the server API. This work may be shared by 2 all-round test engineers or client is happy to look at a mobile test engineer and a backend test engineer. The web work could be done by either. The work is all Agile driven working within a Scrum based environment and is fully autonomous. This is a product driven role and therefore doesn't contain customer interaction and we are looking for individuals who like learning new technology and helping in a team environment. C# .Net Core Technical Lead / Principal Developer

C# .Net Core Technical Lead / Principal Developer required by leading software innovation team based in Chiswick, West London. Superb salary, package and flexibility on offer. As technical leader, you'll report to the CTO and be challenged with building innovative, customer facing products, and to build out internal-use tools. Part of this role involves bringing new ideas into the business, so it would particularly suit a candidate who is actively involved in the software engineering community, and is proactive in bringing in new ideas, techniques, and practices. This is a combined 'hands-on' and leadership position - you will be required to develop code, conduct code reviews, and lead the team. You will need to demonstrate experience in enterprise backgrounds. However, we are particularly looking for an enthusiast who is experienced at the state of more modern software engineering stacks, technologies, and techniques. An ability to put yourself in the user's shoes and consider design and implementation from their perspective is required. Experience of microservice architectures, in particular understanding of how to build complex front-end JavaScript (ideally Angular) code, interacting with a constellation of internal and external services/APIs is required. Experience of modern development approaches, particular non-Microsoft technologies, such as Angular, React, RabbitMQ, Docker, Kubernetes, Swift, Kotlin, along with .NET Core. Understanding of secure systems design best practice is required. Most of the internal systems are Microsoft, so at least 5 years' experience with C# and ASP.NET/MVC is required.
