Systems Engineer – Infrastructure & Cloud Operations

My Milton Keynes based client are looking for an experienced Systems Engineer to join their Enterprise Technology team, playing a key role in delivering secure, resilient and high-performing infrastructure services across both on-premises and cloud environments. This is a hybrid role of 2 days a week in the office. This is an exciting opportunity for a technical specialist with strong Microsoft Azure, VMware, Hyper-V, and enterprise data centre experience to support and evolve a large-scale infrastructure estate. You'll be responsible for maintaining critical platforms including virtualisation, security, storage, backup, networking and cloud services, while driving continuous improvement and modernisation initiatives. Key responsibilities include - Managing and supporting enterprise-scale Azure cloud services and on-premises infrastructure. Administering and optimising VMware vSphere and Microsoft Hyper-V environments. Supporting core data centre infrastructure, including physical servers, storage, backup and disaster recovery solutions. Ensuring compliance with security frameworks including ISO27001, Cyber Essentials Plus and NCSC guidance. You will have - Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure, including administration, security and identity services. Proven expertise in VMware and Hyper-V virtualisation technologies. Experience managing enterprise data centre operations, including storage, backup and resilience platforms. Knowledge of Microsoft technologies including Entra ID (Azure AD), Intune, Defender, Microsoft 365 and Active Directory. Relevant certifications such as AZ-104, AZ-500, SC-300, MS-102 and ITIL Foundation are highly desirable.

We are looking for a Senior Automation Test Engineer to take ownership of our HealthTech clients automated testing capability and help drive the next phase of their quality journey. This is a fully remote role offering a salary in the region of £80,000, 28 days annual leave plus bank holidays, private healthcare and pension. You will be joining a team with an established Playwright-based automation framework and a substantial UI test suite already in place. Your focus will be on evolving and scaling this capability, expanding coverage, improving reliability, and embedding automation deeply into our delivery workflows. You will report directly to the CTO and play a key role in shaping how quality is delivered across the organisation.
