UX Researcher – UK Government – Remote
London | 500-525 a day
Our client, a government-funded public sector organisation, is looking for an experienced UX Researcher  to join their team on an initial 3month fully remote contract with extensions highly likely.   You'll be joining a mature agile delivery team, working alongside two UX Designers, a Junior UX Researcher and two Front End Developers. This role is heavily research-focused, with responsibility for planning and leading research activities that inform the design and development of user-centred digital services.   You'll be passionate about user research and experienced in selecting the right research methods to answer complex questions, including: Usability testing In-depth user interviews Diary studies User groups Remote research and evaluation Quantitative and qualitative research   You'll work closely with designers and developers to ensure research insights translate into effective digital experiences.   We're looking for someone with: 3-4+ years' experience in UX Research, User Research or Usability. Experience working within an agency or client-side digital environment. A strong background in agile delivery and user-centred design. The confidence to lead research planning and stakeholder engagement. Essential experience delivering research on GOV projects.   Due to the nature of the work, applicants must already have the right to work, as sponsorship or work permits cannot be provided. Service Designer – UK Government – Remote
London | 500-525 a day
We've recently secured approval to support a UK Government organisation that has successfully used a service design-led approach to uncover user needs, solve complex problems, and launch new digital services. Following this success, they are looking for a Service Designer to help shape and mature their service design capability.   You'll join a multidisciplinary team of UX consultants, service designers, digital innovation consultants, project managers, solution architects, visual designers and developers. They have a strong track record of delivering award-winning digital services that meet Government Digital Service (GDS) standards.   You will: Play a key role in growing an established service design practice. Take ideas from discovery through to delivery, supported by an experienced in-house technology team. Enjoy real autonomy, working directly with senior stakeholders and civil servants from day one. Help solve meaningful public sector challenges and shape new digital services.   You'll have experience across the service design lifecycle, including user research, ethnography, workshop facilitation, journey mapping, ideation and high-level prototyping. A background in interaction or UX design is also welcome if you've developed strong research and service design skills.   You will be working on Security Cleared level projects. 1st Line Service Desk Engineer

A growing, independent MSP supporting SMEs across London and the South East are looking for a customer-focused 1 st Line Service Desk Engineer to deliver outstanding support, resolve issues at first contact wherever possible, and build the skills to progress into 2 nd Line. This is office based 4 days a week with the option to WFH on Friday's.   What you'll do Provide first-line technical support across Microsoft 365, Windows 10/11 and networking. Resolve incidents and service requests while delivering excellent customer service. Troubleshoot Microsoft 365, PCs, printers, VPNs, Wi-Fi and connectivity issues. Monitor and respond to alerts using HaloPSA, NinjaOne and Hudu. Escalate complex issues with clear diagnostics and accurate documentation.   What we're looking for At least 1 year's commercial IT support experience (MSP experience desirable). Good Microsoft 365 administration and Windows troubleshooting skills. Understanding of DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP and VPNs. Strong communication skills with a genuine customer-first attitude. Deliver project work including M365 migrations, Intune deployments and infrastructure upgrades. Troubleshoot hybrid environments, Active Directory, Entra ID and Intune. Improve automation, documentation and service quality using HaloPSA, NinjaOne, CIPP and Hudu. Coach 1 st Line engineers and share technical knowledge.   What we're looking for 3+ years' commercial IT support experience, ideally within an MSP. Strong Microsoft 365, Windows Server and Active Directory knowledge. Experience with Intune, Entra ID and networking (VPNs, firewalls, routing). 2nd Line Support Technician

2nd Line Support Technician Location: Ashbourne, Derbyshire Working pattern: Permanent, 3 days per week on-site Salary: Circa £34,000 plus benefits We are seeking an experienced 2nd Line Support Technician to provide technical support across the organisation on a permanent basis. This role will focus on delivering high-quality 2nd and 3rd line support, maintaining secure and resilient IT systems, and supporting users on site three days per week in Ashbourne. You will be responsible for troubleshooting and resolving complex incidents, supporting Windows Server, VMware, Microsoft Azure, Entra ID, Intune and Microsoft 365 environments, and helping to maintain device compliance. The role also involves supporting Cyber Essentials activities, network infrastructure, system maintenance, and continual service improvement. Key Responsibilities Provide support for desktops, laptops, mobile devices, servers and cloud services. Deliver on-site technical support three days per week. Support staff with issuing equipment. Administer Azure, VMware, Entra ID, Intune and Microsoft 365. Support Cyber Essentials and Cyber Essentials Plus activities. Carry out maintenance, patching and monitoring. Resolve complex incidents and support problem management. Maintain documentation, asset records and security standards. About You You will have strong experience in 2nd line IT support, excellent troubleshooting skills, and good knowledge of Microsoft and infrastructure technologies. You'll be confident working independently, user-focused, and able to contribute to a secure and efficient IT environment.
Senior .NET C# Engineer Contract 3 Months, Inside IR35
London, Remote | 350-375pd + Flexible working
Senior .NET C# Engineer (Contract, 3 Months, Inside IR35) Location: London (Hybrid preferred; remote considered for the right candidate) Rate: £350-£375 per day (Inside IR35) We are seeking an experienced Senior .NET C# Engineer to join a fast-paced project focused on building and enhancing data ingestion and search capabilities using Elasticsearch. Role Overview You will play a key role in designing and developing index ingestion processes that populate Elasticsearch indices. This includes working with event-driven architectures and translating incoming data into a consistent canonical model. Key responsibilities include: Building ingestion pipelines consuming data from Azure Event Hub and Kafka streams. Mapping incoming data (largely 1:1) into a canonical model, with additional metadata enrichment from Kafka sources. Leveraging and extending existing ingestion processes as templates. Developing REST APIs to support a search UI, translating requests into Elasticsearch queries. Required Skills (recent experience within the last 12 months) Strong expertise in C# / .NET development. Hands-on experience with Elasticsearch, including indexing and querying. Desirable Skills Azure services: Functions, Event Hub, Service Bus, OneLake, Cosmos DB, AKS. Experience with GitHub Actions and CI/CD pipelines. Working Arrangement While there is a preference for candidates who can attend the London office, remote candidates will be considered where skills and experience are strong.
