An established and exciting client of ours in the fintech space is expanding once again and looking for an experienced Operations Engineering Lead to help shape the future of its technology and infrastructure. With a mission to transform financial services through technology and help more people feel confident about their finances, this is an opportunity to make a meaningful impact within a growing, technology-driven business. The role is fully remote, with monthly meet-ups in Central London. As Operations Engineering Lead, you'll take ownership of the AWS infrastructure and operations function, setting the strategic direction across cloud infrastructure, DevOps, reliability, security and developer experience. You'll lead and develop a team of talented Operations Engineers, combining strong technical expertise with people leadership to build a scalable, secure and resilient engineering environment. What You'll Be Doing Lead, mentor and develop a team of 5-7 Operations Engineers, fostering a culture of ownership, collaboration and continuous improvement. Define and drive the strategy for AWS, cloud infrastructure and DevOps. Champion reliability, security, observability and operational excellence across the engineering function. Embed “You Build It, You Run It” principles, empowering engineering teams to take ownership of their services throughout their lifecycle. Drive cloud cost optimisation and FinOps initiatives to maximise efficiency and value. Partner closely with Engineering, Product and Security teams to deliver scalable, secure and reliable solutions. Provide hands-on technical direction and strategic guidance while enabling your team to take ownership and deliver results. What We're Looking For Leadership experience: At least 3 years of experience leading engineering, infrastructure, DevOps, SRE or operations teams. AWS and cloud expertise: 10+ years of experience in cloud infrastructure, with strong AWS knowledge. DevOps and automation: Experience with CI/CD pipelines and Infrastructure as Code. Reliability and observability: A solid understanding of monitoring, observability and incident management. Containers and security: Knowledge of Docker and cloud security best practices. Technical and strategic leadership: The ability to set direction, solve complex problems and make sound architectural decisions. People leadership: A collaborative, pragmatic approach to developing teams and creating an environment where engineers can thrive.
Senior IT Support Engineer – South-West London

My client, a growing IT services business based in South-West London, is looking to recruit a Senior IT Support Engineer to join their expanding team. This is a hands-on, technical role suited to an experienced engineer who can hit the ground running, take ownership of complex escalations and build strong relationships with clients. You'll play a key role in resolving challenging technical issues, delivering infrastructure projects and ensuring clients receive an excellent level of support. As a Senior IT Support Engineer, you will: Take ownership of complex escalated support issues across multiple client environments. Work directly with clients to diagnose problems, implement solutions and provide expert technical guidance. Plan and deliver Microsoft 365 migrations and wider infrastructure projects. Manage projects end-to-end, from initial scoping and planning through to implementation and successful delivery. Investigate security incidents and potential cyberattacks, identify root causes and implement preventative measures. Provide hands-on support across Microsoft 365, Azure/Entra ID, networking, endpoints and wider IT infrastructure. Configure, maintain and troubleshoot servers, switches and firewalls. Work proactively and independently, using your technical expertise and initiative to resolve issues effectively. You'll be an experienced IT engineer with strong technical troubleshooting skills, a practical approach to problem-solving and the confidence to manage client-facing situations. You'll thrive in a flat, collaborative team environment where everyone rolls up their sleeves, takes responsibility and gets involved. This is a remote role with once a month meet ups in central London. We're looking for an Operations Engineering Lead to lead the AWS infrastructure and operations function, setting the direction for platform, DevOps, reliability, security and developer experience. The role: Lead and develop a team of 5-7 Operations Engineers. Shape the AWS, infrastructure and DevOps strategy. Drive reliability, security, observability and operational excellence. AWS Engineering Lead Remote-first | London office 1 day per month | £90,000-£100,000 base + 15%+ pension Lead the infrastructure and operations that power engineering at scale for this leader in the fintech space. You'll shape our AWS platform, architecture, security, reliability and developer tooling while leading and mentoring a team of 5-7 engineers. You'll set engineering standards, champion best practice and help embed “you build it, you run it” across the organisation. Contract: 1 month initially Rate: £500 per day Location: Fully remote Status: Outside IR35 We're looking for an experienced JavaScript/TypeScript Engineer with strong hands-on experience across Next.js, NestJS to join us on a short-term contract and help build and improve an Android fitness app. This is an opportunity to work on a fast-moving, product-led application with a strong focus on AI-assisted development, modern JavaScript engineering and efficient delivery workflows. You'll be joining at an important stage of the product, so we're looking for someone who can hit the ground running, work independently and deliver high-quality features quickly. What you'll be doing Building and improving features for an Android fitness app using Next.js and NestJS. Working across the TypeScript stack, including APIs, integrations and application architecture. Collaborating remotely with the product and engineering team to deliver outcomes quickly. Using Claude, agentic workflows and AI tools to accelerate development and problem-solving. Helping shape pragmatic technical decisions across the frontend, backend and mobile stack. Contributing to a clean, maintainable and scalable codebase during a short, focused engagement. What we're looking for Strong commercial experience as a JavaScript or TypeScript Engineer. My client in South-West London are looking to add a Senior IT Support Engineer their growing team. This is a hands-on role for someone who can hit the ground running, take ownership of escalated support issues and confidently deal directly with clients. As a Senior IT Support Engineer you will - Resolve complex escalated support and infrastructure issues across multiple client environments. Work directly with clients to troubleshoot problems and deliver effective solutions. Plan and deliver Microsoft 365 migrations and technical projects. Project manage work from initial planning through to successful completion. Investigate security incidents and hacks, getting to the root cause and putting preventative measures in place. Support Microsoft 365, Azure/Entra, networking, endpoints and wider IT infrastructure. At home configuring Servers, Switches, Firewalls. Proactive, self-motivated and able to work independently.
