Lead Test Automation Engineer (Python).

Lead Test Automation Engineer with Python and experience in regulated environments is required by our fintech client. This is a fantastic opportunity for a hands-on leader who enjoys both technical work and mentoring. The role offers a hybrid work arrangement, with just one day per month required in the London office.

You'll create and maintain test automation frameworks to ensure consistency and efficiency across all tests, and you'll participate in code reviews, providing feedback on testability and automation coverage. The Lead Test Automation Engineer will develop and maintain automated test scripts using programming languages and tools such as Python, Selenium, Pytest and Appium. You will spend about 20% of your time coaching and mentoring a team of four engineers in an agile, forward-thinking environment.

You will:

• Lead the automation testing efforts, ensuring efficient and scalable solutions.
• Drive the automation strategy using Python, Selenium, Pytest, Appium and other advanced tools.
• Ensure compliance with regulations and standards in a fintech environment.
• Experience with Postman, Selenium, SOAP UI, and Cucumber.
• Solid SQL skills and experience with relational databases.
