Lead Automation Python Engineer.

Our fintech client is seeking a Lead Automation Python Engineer with experience in regulated environments to join their team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a hands-on leader who enjoys both technical work and mentoring. The role offers a hybrid work arrangement, with just one day per month required in the London office.

In this role, you'll focus on a new product that is already in production with select clients but is set to scale significantly. Your primary responsibilities will involve UI, API, and Load / Performance testing, all heavily automated using cutting-edge technologies such as Python, Pytest, Selenium, and more. You will spend about 20% of your time coaching and mentoring a team of four engineers in an agile, forward-thinking environment.

You will:

• Lead the automation testing efforts, ensuring efficient and scalable solutions.
• Drive the automation strategy using Python, Selenium, Pytest, and other advanced tools.
• Ensure compliance with regulations and standards in a fintech environment.
• Experience with Postman, Selenium, SOAP UI, and Cucumber.
• Solid SQL skills and experience with relational databases.

£85,000 + 30 days holiday, 15% pension, 15% bonus, private medical
