In line with continuous integration and TDD, the Dev team are slowing adopting the DevOps approach. Their need is around back end development with real-time data. Their Dev team operates a very relaxed, enjoyable but professional team set up.


Where the need for real time data is paramount, the Java Software Engineer will be proficient with Java (7/8), Linux, UNIX, Tomcat and Oracle databases. It is advantageous if you have worked within OO design (SOLID principles ideal), Continuous integration/delivery (GIT, Jenkins, JIRA) and Agile Software Delivery. 

• Java 8
• Multi-threading knowledge
• Spring core, Spring Boot, Spring RESTful web service
• OOP design pattern and functional paradigm understanding e.g. monad, pure function, higher-order function, declarative programming
• Strong knowledge of SOLID, DRY, KISS, YAGNI principles 
• Unit test 
• Maven, Jenkins, Jira, code review
