Head of Software with Java bias who aspires to be a CTO urgently required by Milton Keynes client. Do you boast a wealth of Java code/design/architectural expertise? Do you enjoy setting strategy, managing delivery and leading a tech team?


Here you will. As ‘Head of Software' you'll lead the existing (yet growing) development team of 7 and in return be expected to lead architecturally for current and future products/platforms. 


As the most senior technical leader within the business, you'll be working with the teams to plan, develop and deliver various projects. This will vary from translating the company strategy into actionable development projects to developing and evolving the platform with the engineering leads to caching and developing individuals within. 


A strong understanding of the following is key:
Micro-services/SOA architecture 
Java based technology - Spring Boot, Hibernate and Oracle/MSSQL 
Cloud technology 
Infrastructure/DevOps ideal: Zuul, Zipkin, Eureka, RabbitMQ etc 


Other areas of interest include Angular 7, Javascript, Back-end REST services and much more..
