Contract Java Engineer Outside IR35 Remote.

Contract Java Engineer to work outside IR35 and fully remote required ASAP. As a Java specialist you will work in a small team of 4-7 in helping, supporting and driving the projects from an older monolithic service through to microservices. This is a potential 18-month piece of work (initially 6 months) where solid Java engineering skills are paramount. Those comfortable with API, SOLID, Design Patters, Spring and cloud experience (preferably Azure but not essential) are key. Any experience working with Maven and CI tools likewise.

This will suit an experienced Java Software Engineer who has worked in small teams and prides themselves on writing clean well-structured and tested code.  The key skills required:

• Experienced Java technical team lead.
• Java 8-11 experience (mandatory)
• JavaScript experience (mandatory)
• GWT or REACT exposure (ideal)
• Excellent Microservices exposure but also doesn't mind working on legacy Java
• Worked closely with the product team to shape how change is implemented
• Experience working with Atlassian tooling e.g. BitBucket, Jira, Confluence.
