Windows AWS – Terraform –DevOps Infrastructure Engineer.

Windows DevOps Engineer with a strong grasp of AWS and Terraform is required ASAP for government transformation project. As DevOps Engineer you will be working as part of an agile delivery team to iteratively design, build and implement a BI platform infrastructure in collaboration with the Lead Technical Architect. This work will lay the foundation of key architecture building blocks for the future BI platform. The team already have a wealth of AWS, Puppet and Chef Knowledge within but what is missing is expertise in Windows and experience of automating Windows on AWS. As an expert DevOPS Engineer you will be tasked with:

Developing AWS (VPC, EC2, RDS, ELB, Route53, IAM) and Terraform for provisioning AWS resources

Windows 2012 server installation and configuration management, Windows AD, roles, permissions, group policies, security, Antivirus and Powershell

SQL Server installation, support and management

Networking concepts: TCP/IP, Firewall, Routing, DNS

Also any experience of Linux, Ansible and Docker will be advantageous as you will be working closely with the central DevOps team extensively.
