SQL DBA – Milton Keynes.

Contract SQL DBArequired ASAP by our key client based in Milton Keynes. Working as part of an IT Transformation Programme, you must be able to demonstrate a history of using your experience to mature capability, a willingness to work and utilise your skills on a DBA front as you will be working on a Business Application work Stream.


The SQL Server DBAwill be required to implement solutions as defined by Head of Data. DBA duties will include maintaining and monitoring databases including file management, indexes, statistics, backups, security. You will be responsible for High Availability, Managing, maintaining and monitoring production databases using technologies such as Windows Clustering etc.


You will be expected to be comfortable troubleshooting and resolving database exceptions/errors and performance related issues and provide support to the network to resolve data issues and other ad hoc tasks such as providing data feeds to internal and external consumers as required.


Holding Microsoft SQL Server Certification is highly desirable. Please apply now.
