SQL DBA Database Administrator.

Senior SQL Database Administrator / Developer required by Wellingborough based expanding global organisation. The successful candidate must have at least 5 years exposure of working in a DBA type role, SQL 2012, 2016, TSQL, importing and exporting data, knowledge of Access and Microsoft Office and ideally some experience of DTS, RDBMS implementation and SSIS reporting or knowledge of the SQL development stack. The successful SQL DBA will have a strong grounding in clustering and also be capable of administering day to day and week to week processes within a medium sized SQL 2016 database. The role will entail dealing with the supply of client data, processing client data, setup of SQL Databases, setup reports in Excel and Develop and maintain Databases in SQL Server 2012 and 2016. The work will be split at around 75% admin and tuning with 25% new development within SQL and moving towards Azure and MongoDB.  This is a great opportunity to work for an organisation that sees training their staff and keeping them up to date with the latest technologies of the utmost importance as well as offering progression within the organisation.
