Senior Java Lead Architect.

An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Senior Java Lead Architect in Victoria, London working for a government funded organisation (YOU MUST HAVE PREVIOUS GOVERNMENT EXPERIENCE and be DV CLEARED). The successful candidate will have previous experience delivering multi million pound Greenfield projects focussed around digital transformation. Your time will be spent most of your time hands on coding working with open source technology. You will be required to have technical experience developing greenfield projects in any open source technology language ideally Java (specifically version 1.8), RESTful APIs JSON, JavaScript, Jenkins, Server Side web applications, Jira, Confluence.

This role would provide an excellent opportunity for an experienced developer with experience of technical development to branch more into leading from the front and getting involved in small elements of architecture.

Essential Experience

• Java 8
• Spring / Spring Boot and spring data rest
• REST
• TDD
• BDD (specifically Cucumber)
• Apache Camel
• Microservices architecture
• Fluent in English with good communication skills
• Experience working within a Scrum team and familiarity with CI development techniques
