SC Cleared Linux Systems Engineer.

SC Cleared Linux Systems Engineer / Web Server Administrator required by leading Government based organisation within Victoria, London. You must boast demonstrable experience configuring web and application servers and possess a fundamental understanding and appreciation for Linux, Jenkins, CI/CD, data centres and server admin. You must also have current SC clearance as this is working with highly sensitive data.

The ideal candidate will have previous experience supporting a large production platform and will have responsibility for the operational management of Linux Servers, delivering a complex web application stack and will be tasked with building and configuring new server platforms. The Linux Web Server Administrator will have an understanding of common web application architecture, experience of debugging a complex multi-server service, working with network protocols including TCP/IP, HTTP, SSL and management tools such as Puppet and Chef. Exposure to HIDS, NIDS and security hardening and any experience within designing and building the infrastructure in a data centre is advantageous.

Previous deployment and configuration of machines in a cloud environment and installation and management of open source monitoring tools is highly advantageous. Some on call work may also be required, superb rate and work on offer. Please Apply now.
