IT Service Delivery Manager is required to work on a brand-new Service Delivery and Operating model within a transformation programme of two large IT systems. Based in Milton Keynes you will be joining a team working full life cycle, service end to end so a wealth of experience in this is highly sought after with a Service Desk capability.
The Service Delivery Manager will hold solid Project Management experience and it goes without saying a wealth of ITIL. This role is full life cycle and Service end-to-end therefore experience in just incident management will not be enough for this role.
The IT Service Delivery manager will become the owner of the Change Incident, Problem, Request and Escalation processes, ensuring high levels of performance, accurate reporting and establishing service improvement activities when required. You will be expected to champion IT Service Delivery in projects, developing a strong understanding of projects impacting on IT service provision and ensure impact is agreed and minimised.
Within this position the IT Service Delivery Manager will need to process first class communication skills and be extremely confident liaising with higher management, stakeholders and third parties, producing improvement plans, drive internal and third-party service review meetings, covering performance, service improvements, quality and processes.
