The IT Service Delivery Manager will be responsible for IT service management processes, including the management of the IT Helpdesk and IT Training within a global organisation based in the heart of Milton Keynes.
As the IT Service Delivery Manager you will have a strong understanding of ITIL and a working knowledge of Agile development processes such as SCRUM. Boasting 5 years+ experience of Service Delivery and Management you will become the owner of the Change Incident, Problem, Request and Escalation processes, ensuring high levels of performance, accurate reporting and establishing service improvement activities when required. You will be expected to champion IT Service Delivery in projects, developing a strong understanding of projects impacting on IT service provision and ensure impact is agreed and minimised.
Within this position the IT Service Delivery Manager will need to process first class communication skills and be extremely confident liaising with higher management, stakeholders and third parties, producing improvement plans, drive internal and third-party service review meetings, covering performance, service improvements, quality and processes. You will have the right attributes and be confident enough to win over longstanding managers who are resistant to change to make improvements across IT and delivery.
