IT Security Architect.

IT Security Architect required through growth and expansion in Milton Keynes. The successful IT Security Architect will be required to ensure all IT Services are designed/developed in line with the IT Security Policy, Regulatory and Statutory requirements.

You will be responsible for risk assessments, performing security evaluations, researching security systems and standards and authentication protocols. As Architect you will state requirements for routers, LANs, WANs, firewalls, VPNs and other susceptible network devices.

The IT Security Architect will be working with Service and Operations teams to ensure existing, new and changed solutions are understood in sufficient detail enabling timely resolution of incidents and problems and must be able to have a strong grounding and understanding within the following…

• A track record of Enterprise Security Architecture and demonstrable hands-on technical information security experience.
• A broad understanding of Enterprise Security at an architectural level and preferably someone with deeper experience of at least two Information Security areas such as Cloud, SOC Services, IAM, Endpoint Security, etc
• Expert-level knowledge of security principles and technologies
• Experience of industry standards and Frameworks such as SABSA and TOGAF
• Experience of relevant technologies (such as Networks, LANs and WANs, Servers & Hosting, Virtualisation, Applications, Identity Management etc.) and how to securely design them
• Cyber Security related qualification(s) such as CISSP, CISM, CREST Technical Security Architect, ISO Lead Auditor, CEH, GIAC etc
• An understanding of security methodologies, best practice and industry standards Experience in risk & regulatory frameworks and standards such as NIST 800, ISO 27001, ISF SOGP, PCI-DSS
