Front End Web Developer.

A passionate Front End Web Developer is urgently required by a web development and design team based in Milton Keynes. The Front End Web Developer will be working on a wide range of web based applications and web sites in line with technical and design/branding specifications. The Senior Front End Web Developer will be motivated to combine the art of design with the art of programming.

The successful Senior Front End Web Developer will be expected to hit the ground running to develop new user-facing features, build reusable code and libraries for future use, ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs, optimize application for maximum speed and scalability and assure that all user input is validated before submitting to back-end. Responsibilities will include translation of the UI/UX design wireframes to actual code that will produce visual elements of the application. You will work closely with the design team and bridge the gap between graphical design and technical implementation, taking an active role on both sides and defining how the application looks as well as how it works.

From a technology perspective you will have extensive understanding of web mark-up, including HTML5, CSS3 with an understanding of server-side CSS pre-processing platforms, such as LESS and SASS. You will have a proficient understanding of client-side scripting and JavaScript frameworks, including jQuery and AngularJS, cross-browser compatibility issues and ways to work around them, code versioning tools Git and TFS, experienced in responsive design and hold a good understanding of asynchronous request handling, partial page updates, and AJAX!
