Data Services Manager.

A leading client based in Milton Keynes who are embarking on a transformation project are seeking the expertise of a Data Services Manager.  The Data Services Manager will be expected to promote and support all aspects of the client's data service portals, leading both internal and external data projects. You will have full management of the software suppliers, including service reviews and change management procedures. You will also be expected to coordinate and manage stakeholder meetings, including the timely delivery of professional briefing papers, to ensure service provision meets requirements.  The Data Services Manager will be expected to identify opportunities to assess new, innovative and market-leading IT solutions.

Working on a new project the Data Services Manager will be expected to

• Production and analysis of management information for portal customers and stakeholders
• Ongoing development and enhancement of the portals and data services, SQL and Open Source
• Support the Head of Data Services and the wider team, as appropriate
• Managing the processing of information, including dissemination of information to customers and partners in line with relevant legislation and best practice guidance, such as ISO27001

You will be educated to degree level and boast proven experience of business analytics, producing high quality reports/ summaries/ briefings, experience of delivering high quality presentations to stakeholders, hold a working knowledge of analytics systems and associated processes needed to identify suspect patterns of activity in large data clusters and hold key knowledge of the relevant processes and data requirements of external stakeholders.
