C# ASP.Net Software Development Team Leader.

Our Milton Keynes based client who are a FTSE-250 eCommerce Business with an award winning multi-channel eCommerce Platform are undergoing some really exciting times and are once again looking to expand their expert development team with an established Team leader.

As a Software Development Team Leader you will be expected to provide support and guidance across the Full Software Development lifecycle (requirements analysis to delivery), work to agile methodologies such as SCRUM and KANBAN, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily duties of the Development Team, and acting as a direct report for a number of Software & Senior developers, ensuring that they continue to deliver software that meets the required development standards.

As part of the role the Software Development Team Leader will be expected to provide regular 1 to 1 meetings and annual reviews of developers within the team, understand business requirements (user stories) and help the development team successfully deliver a technical solution which meets the requirement. You will be expected to define and ensure the adherence to quality guidelines and follow testing approaches such as unit testing and test-driven development (TDD) to ensure a ‘right first time' delivery of software. The Development Team Leader will collaborate with the wider scrum team and scrum master to ensure a correct and working solution is delivered every time.

The Software Development Team Leader will hold an in-depth understanding of SOLID Principles of software development and purpose and application of software patterns with proficiency in C#, .Net, MVC, Restful Web API, HTML, CSS and JavaScript, SQL Server (TSQL), Unit Testing. An understanding of IOC and dependency injection strategies as well as Continuous Integration, Continuous Delivery strategies and Azure are seen highly advantageous.
