Application Security Architect.

Application Security Architect required ASAP by leading financial services client in Milton Keynes to contribute to the development of enterprise Security Architecture and ‘Security by Design' thinking within technology and stakeholder communities.  The Application Security Architect will have a thorough background in Planning, researching, and designing security architectures and have a sound understanding of technology and IT systems.

The Application Security Architect will have the ability to build strong working relationships with both business and technical stakeholders to define comprehensive Architecture and Design solutions. The successful candidate will be able to champion Architecture through to delivery.

You will have -

• 5-10 years' experience in information security and IT risk management.
• A strong working knowledge of current IT risks, security implementations, and computer operating and software programmes.
• Developing, reviewing, and approving the installation requirements for LANs, WANs, VPNs, routers, firewalls, and related network devices.
• Researching and designing key infrastructures, certification authorities, and digital signatures, and ensuring all personnel have IT access limited to their need and role in the organisation.
• Advanced IT security certifications may be advantageous.
• Remaining up to date with the latest security systems, standards, authentication protocols, and products.
