A 1st Line Support Engineer / Application Support Engineer is urgently required by established Software and Web Applications Company based in Northampton, Northamptonshire who pride themselves on training and a great working environment. We are looking for an individual who will be joining an existing team of 3 working at the ‘front of house' fielding, logging and supporting a number of phone calls from key clients.

 

It is essential that you hold a professional, polite and clear telephone manor with exceptional customer service skills. You will be working and liaising with the company's key and important clients through a variety of channels including the helpdesk portal, telephone & email and be required to log all issues on the logging system for future reference.

 

It is essential that the successful 1st Line Support Engineer / Customer Service will have a good understanding of computers and software including the Microsoft office suite, application support (SQL), exceptional customer service and proven experience of working in a Service Desk / Helpdesk / Support environment. This is not a mainstream support role, it is more software support based.
