A SQL DBA Guru / Senior SQL Databse Administrator required by Milton Keynes based expanding organisation. The successful candidate must boast at least 5years SQL Server 2005 (2008), an excellent understanding of databse structures, theories, principles and practices and the ability to grasp new technologies, methodologies and approaches.

Any knowledge of clustered environments, 64Bit windows and SQL or MCDBA certifications or equivalent are extremely advantageous.

As databse guru and collaborating with architecture, development and operations teams, you will be responsible for overseeing the development and organisation of the complex databases, assessing and implementing new technolgies and providing management with a long term view of database technology requirements to support the ever growing business.
