Junior PHP Developer – York

Exciting eCommerce company are looking to bring onboard an exciting new Junior Developer to their team.

The role is an unusual opportunity for someone who may not have the commercial experience but who has already written a number of PHP applications and is able to demonstrate strong passion and skills in their portfolio. On a daily basis you will be developing PHP based applications on a LAMP stack whilst liaising with internal designers and developers. You will have good basis in PHP 5 and MySQL. Knowledge of OOP, XHTML / HTML, Javascript, jQuery and AJAX would be an advantage but are not essential.

Based midway between York and Leeds this is an excellent location to reach by train with it only 20 mins from York.

A more senior Developer will also be considered.

Salary up to £20-30k
