1st Line Support Helpdesk Engineer - Milton Keynes, Bucks
A technically astute 1st Line Support Helpdesk Engineer required by established Milton Keynes based Market leader. A genuine interest in IT and Customer Support, and a successful background of hands-on achievement in this field are essential. This role is predominately a help desk support position which requires a good technical knowledge and dictates that strong communication and customer facing skills, logical analysis techniques and general common sense are paramount. Working as part of a small team supporting around 250 users across multiple sites in the UK, as Helpdesk support you will be supporting internal users with a variety of bespoke applications, as well as the standard range of Microsoft products. Technical knowledge should include some of the following; Basic back-up, Antivirus install & removal, Spam filter mail release & management, Active Directory Accounts & group policies, Exchange mailbox management, Network & switches Basic management, IP Phone Installations, Windows XP and Knowledge of Windows 2003/2008 Server etc. Salary of £18-20k plus package includes Flexi-time, training, 25days holiday, medical etc etc Please apply now.
